NLSA 2006 air gun provincials
This weekend eight shooters took part in the Newfoundland and Labrador Shooting Associations Annual Air Gun Championships. This year the association took the provincials to Gander and ran them concurrently with the Provincial Cadets Air Rifle Championships.
In the men�s classifications top shot went to Dave Woolridge of St. John�s with a score of 559/600, top sharpshooter was Chad Gosse of Croque at 500 and top Tyro was Alexander Matchim of Gander.
For the women�s event gold Tyro went to Mary Beth Walsh of St. John�s 305/400, silver to Dawn Buckle of Corner Brook 251/400 and bronze to Shawna Walsh of St. John�s 241/300. Though turnout was light match officials were pleased to see new faces from all across the province.
