"Craig is yet another example of the incredible talent that we produce here in Newfoundland and Labrador, and we are all so very proud of this young gentleman," said Premier Williams. "On behalf of all Newfoundlanders and Labradorians, I wish Craig the very best heading into the finale. No matter what the outcome, Craig Sharpe is a winner and a true role model for us all."

"Craig has represented Newfoundland and Labrador wonderfully on the national stage," said Minister Hedderson. "We are all very proud of his achievements and I cant wait to watch the finale in his home community with so many of his extended family and friends. I wish Craig all the best. Certainly, he has already proved he is a winner."
