NOTE TO EDITORS:
Minister Burke to speak to women in medicine

Joan Burke, Minister Responsible for the Status of Women, will address the Newfoundland and Labrador Chapter of the Federation of Medical Women of Canada in St. John�s this evening. The chapter is comprised of female medical students, residents and staff doctors.

The event begins at 7:00 tonight (Wednesday, April 12), at Waterford Manor, 185 Waterford Bridge Road. Minister Burke will speak at 8:00 p.m.
