Environmental Assessment Bulletin

The Honourable Clyde Jackman, Minister of Environment and Conservation, has announced the following events relative to Part 10 Environmental Assessment of the Environmental Protection Act.

UNDERTAKINGS RELEASED:

(1) Crown District 21 Five Year Forestry Operating Plan (2007-11)                              (Reg. 1298)
Proponent: Department of Natural Resources

The minister has released the above project from further environmental assessment subject to the following conditions:

• The annual operating plan submitted to government must describe how issues raised by the public and government agencies in this environmental assessment review will be addressed.
• An annual progress report must be submitted to this department that outlines the outcome of these measures.

(2) Crown Districts 4, 5, 6 and 8 Five Year Forestry Operating Plan (2007-11)
Proponent: Department of Natural Resources                                     (Reg. 1302)

The minister has released the above project from further environmental assessment subject to the following conditions:
