Important information for electors on polling day for June 23, 2005
by election in Electoral District of Exploits

In order to vote in the provincial by election on June 23, 2005, electors must meet the following qualifications:

1. Be 18 years of age or more on polling day;

2. A Canadian citizen and;

3. Ordinarily resident in the province on June 22, 2005

(Section 23, Elections Act, 1991)

A qualified elector whose name does not appear on the voters list is required to produce identification and take an oath in the prescribed form in order to vote on polling day. In addition, qualified electors who take the prescribed oath will also be asked date of birth in order to keep the Revised List of Electors current.

Please Note: Date of Birth does not appear on the List of Electors
