Juvenile hoop teams off to national championships

The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association will be sending two teams to Regina, Saskatchewan on Sunday, August 8, to compete in the 2004 National Juvenile (U17) Boys and Girls Championships.

The 2005 Canada Games Ladies Program will compete against Alberta, British Columbia, Quebec and Saskatchewan. The 2005 Canada Games Men�s Program will face Alberta, British Columbia, New Brunswick and Saskatchewan. The championship games are set for Saturday evening August 14. Both programs will return to the province on Sunday, August 15. For additional information, please contact the provincial office at 576-0247. Members of both programs include:
