NOTE TO EDITORS: 

Premier Danny Williams and Ed Byrne, Minister of Natural Resources, will hold a news conference on Tuesday, December 14, at 10:30 a.m. in the Media Centre, Ground Floor, East Block, Confederation Building. At this time, Premier Williams and Minister Byrne will release the Request for Expressions of Interest and Proposals for the development of the Lower Churchill hydroelectric resource. 

Copies of the Request for Expressions of Interest and Proposals will be distributed to the media at 10 a.m. At approximately 10:10 a.m. officials will be available for media questions of a technical nature or for clarification.
