Environment Minister Bob Mercer will appear before the House of Commons Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans when it meets in St. John�s on Wednesday, May 7, 2003, at the Fairmont Newfoundland Hotel, Salon A. Minister Mercer is scheduled to appear at 12:15 p.m. The focus of his presentation will be the risk posed by oil pollution to the coasts and coastal waters of Newfoundland and Labrador.
