NOTE TO EDITORS:

Michael Crummey, will be reading from his award-winning novel, River Thieves, at the Boyd�s Cove Beothuk Interpretation Centre on Tuesday, October 8, at 7 p.m. The novel about the Beothuk people in the 19th century has won the Thomas Raddall Atlantic Fiction Prize, the Winterset Award, the Atlantic Independent Booksellers Choice Award. It was shortlisted for the 2001 Giller Prize, the 2002 Commonwealth Writers Prize and has been nominated for the 2003 International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award.
