NOTE TO EDITORS:

Julie Bettney, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, will speak at a luncheon sponsored by the Discovery Trail Tourism Association at 12 noon, Wednesday, May 29, at the Clarenville Inn. Minister Bettney will also be the guest speaker at the annual fundraising dinner of the Deer Lake Chamber of Commerce at the Deer Lake Motel at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 30. Media are invited to attend. Minister Bettney will provide an overview of the tourism industry for 2002.
