6th session of the Council of Atlantic Premiers

Premier John Hamm will host and chair the Council of Atlantic Premiers� meeting to be held in Pictou, Nova Scotia on June 10. Premiers Bernard Lord, Roger Grimes, and Pat Binns will be in attendance. The premiers will focus discussions on their Atlantic cooperation agenda.

The meeting will commence at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, June 10, 2002, at the

Braeside Inn, 126 Front Street, Pictou, Nova Scotia. A photo opportunity will be available from 9:00 to 9:10 a.m. in the Banquet Room. A news conference will be held in the Conference Room at 1:30 p.m. Simultaneous interpretation services will be provided during the news conference. News releases issued from the meeting will be distributed by each province�s communications office following the meeting, and will be accessible at www.cmp.ca.

The media working area will be located on the first floor of the annex adjacent to the inn and will be available at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, June 10.

PLEASE NOTE: All registered media will be notified directly of any changes to the meeting schedule.

All media representatives, including journalists, photographers, camera operators, and technicians, are requested to register by submitting their name, affiliation, and contact information to the address below by June 5.
