2000 Sport Newfoundland and Labrador Annual Awards

Rosiland Pound, chair of the Sport Newfoundland and Labrador Annual Awards program, is pleased to announce that a total of 48 nominations in seven different categories have been received for the 2000 annual awards. Awards will be presented in the following categories: Junior Male/Female Athlete of the Year; Senior Male/Female Athlete of the Year; Team of the Year; Coach of the Year; and Executive of the Year. The annual award ceremony will take place at the Delta Hotel on March 31, 2001. Details regarding the finalists in each category will be released in a couple of weeks.
