Pepsi Midget A Provincial Boys Volleyball Tournaments

The Newfoundland and Labrador Volleyball Association will be hosting another of its 21 Pepsi Minor Provincial Championships for the 2001 season this weekend, February 23 � 24. The Pepsi Midget A boys provincial event will have seven teams compete for top honours in Conception Bay South, with matches to be played at Queen Elizabeth High School and Frank Roberts Intermediate. The teams will play a seven-team round robin with the top four teams advancing to the semi-finals. The bronze medal match is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. and the gold medal game is scheduled for 4:00 p.m., at Queen Elizabeth High School on Saturday. The teams registered are: Saxons � St. John's, Sabres Bulldogs - CBS, Roncalli High School � Avondale, Summitt Volleyball - Clarenville, Braves Midgets � St. John's, Sabres Ravens - CBS, and Tricentia � Arnolds Cove.
