Minister of Justice announces appointments

Kelvin Parsons, Minister of Justice and Attorney General is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Christopher Curran to the position of Director of Civil Law and related services with the Department of Justice, and Mr. David W. Jones as the High Sheriff of Newfoundland. Mr. Curran had previously been the acting High Sheriff of Newfoundland. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Jones was a senior solicitor with the Department of Justice.

"I am pleased that Mr. Curran and Mr. Jones have agreed to take on these new duties and I look forward to working with them in their new positions in the coming years," said the minister. "I have every confidence in them and their abilities to perform the respective tasks assigned to them."
