Langdon has announced the following events relative NEW UNDERTAKINGS REGISTERED: Charlottetown Diesel Generating Plant
Expansion The proponent plans to expand the existing diesel generating plant in Charlottetown, Labrador to 2.28 megawatts. The proposed increase in generating capacity will be obtained through installation of two new generating units at the existing diesel plant. One generating unit will be installed to replace an existing unit and the other will be a mobile unit installed adjacent to the existing generating plant. Planned completion date for the plant expansion is early Spring 2001. The undertaking was registered on February 6, 2001; public comments are due on March 13, 2001; and the minister's decision is due on March 23, 2001. The minister encourages all interested parties to become involved and to make comments known.
