NOTE TO EDITORS:

On Saturday, September 8 (International Literacy Day), Education Minister Judy Foote and Senator Joyce Fairbairn will be launching a province-wide reading promotion campaign. It will take place between 9:00-9:45 a.m. in Salon A at the Fairmont Newfoundland Hotel. 

Media are invited to attend the launch which is in conjunction with the Health and Literacy Conference. Following the launch Minister Foote and Senator Fairbairn will be available for interviews in the Garrison Room.
