Environmental Assessment Bulletin Environment and Labour Minister Oliver Langdon has announced the following events relative to the Environmental Assessment Act. Comments on submitted documents are invited from the public, addressed in writing to the minister, and are welcome prior to the deadline date shown for each item. NEW UNDERTAKINGS REGISTERED: Recreation Vehicle (R.V.) Park and Trail Expansion The proponent proposes to develop a caravan/recreation vehicle (R.V.) park at Springdale as an extension to the George Huxter Municipal Park. The planned expansion to the park will include construction of approximately 20 R.V. sites with sewer and electrical hook-up and 2.5 kilometres of walking trails. The undertaking was registered on November 10, 2000, public comments are due on December 19, 2000, and the minister's decision is due on December 25, 2000. ENVIRONMENT PREVIEW REPORT CANCELLED: Amendment to the Five Year Operation Plan (1997-2001) The proponent has withdrawn the proposed amendment which was registered under the Environmental Assessment Act on December 14, 1999. The minister encourages all interested parties to become involved and to make comments known.
