Minister of Education announces new industrial training office in Burin

"I am pleased to announce that the Department of Education�s Industrial Training Division has set up office on the Burin Campus of the College of the North Atlantic. This means a greater presence for the department on the Burin Peninsula. The office also serves the Bonavista Peninsula as well as Come by Chance and Clarenville. This move will result in improved service to students in the area," said Judy Foote, Minister of Education, today.

The new office provides information and assistance to students in apprenticeship training, certification, post-journey training and power engineering. These students were previously served by the St. John�s office.
