  • Claude Hobbs, the station's last assistant superintendent, will present a talk entitled A Brief History of the Heart's Content Cable Station.

  • Author Donald Tarrant will launch his new publication Atlantic Sentinel, a description of Newfoundland's role in Transatlantic communications.

The site also has permanent exhibits and models of the famous cable-laying ship, the Great Eastern. Tours are offered daily. Musical entertainment and refreshments will be available all day July 27.
