Market Highlights:
-Retail gasoline prices throughout Newfoundland and Labrador
remained unchanged over the current survey period. For the communities surveyed,
Conception Bay South continues to have the least expensive price of 63.9
cpl.
Retail prices in Prince Edward Island increased on September 1, 1999, following approval
by the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission.
-From August 24, 1999, to September 7, 1999, refinery wholesale prices,
as measured by the Montreal refinery rack price, increased by 1.3 cpl to 28.4
cpl.
-Crude oil prices continue to increase, from $21.47 US per barrel to
$22.61 US per barrel over the survey period. |
