NOTE TO EDITORS: Canada Day celebrations at Confederation Hill will begin tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. Premier Brian Tobin and Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Walter Noel will participate in a Citizenship Ceremony at 11:30 a.m. in the main lobby of Confederation Building. Lieutenant-Governor Max House will officiate at the ceremony. Also in attendance will be Senator Derek Lewis, representing the Government of Canada, and St. John's Mayor Andy Wells. After the Citizenship Ceremony, a special Canada Day cake will be cut in the lobby, followed by an official tree planting ceremony in front of the Confederation Building Complex. During the afternoon there will be a family concert on the lawn in front of the West Block, and tours of the House of Assembly. Parking is available at the rear of Confederation Building.
