Government and nurses reach tentative agreement Premier Brian Tobin said today that the province and the Newfoundland and Labrador Nurses' Union have reached a tentative collective agreement. "I am pleased that we have been able to reach a tentative agreement with the nurses' union," said Premier Tobin. "Much hard work and many long hours went into the negotiations, and now the nurses' union will bring the details to their membership. We will not comment on the specifics of the tentative agreement until the union has had the opportunity to hold a ratification vote."
