A $1,793,947 contract has been awarded to Provincial Paving
Limited of St. John's to upgrade and pave Wreck Cove Road,
approximately five kilometres, and to pave Conne River Road,
approximately 10 kilometres.
The announcement was made today by Oliver Langdon, MHA -
Fortune Bay - Cape La Hune, on behalf of Lloyd Matthews, Minister
of Works, Services and Transportation.
This is a joint project between Transport Canada and the
Government of Newfoundland and Labrador under the Strategic
Highway Improvement Program.
Work is to be completed by September 30, 1997.
