A $715,920 contract has been awarded to Municipal Construction
Limited of Mount Pearl for upgrading and paving Salmonier Line
Route 90 from Salmonier Pharmacy towards New Bridge and for
repaving at various locations between St. Mary's and St.
Vincent's.
The announcement was made today by Anthony Sparrow, MHA -
Placentia-St. Mary's on behalf of Lloyd Matthews, Minister of
Works, Services and Transportation.
This is a joint project between Transport Canada and the
Government of Newfoundland and Labrador under the Freight
Assistance Program.
Mr. Sparrow said the project is to be completed by September
30, 1997.
