On Saturday, June 14, 1997, Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador will hold a Tourism Open House at the Village Mall in St. John's. The Tourism Open House, a Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism Awareness Month event, will celebrate our province's tourism industry and create awareness of the numerous tourism events and operations in our area. HNL's Tourism Awareness Month campaign promotes tourism and educates individuals and businesses about the industry's economic significance to the province. This year's Tourism Awareness Month theme is "Do it! - Let's Welcome the World With our Homemade Charm"

Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador's Tourism Open House will feature displays by a wide variety of tourism operators, from adventure tour companies, to art displays, to tourism destinations...the list goes on. The Open House is open to the general public and will run from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
