Note correct dates for Cabot 500 events as published in 
the Official 500th Anniversary Festivals & Events Calendar 1997

This is a reminder to all news rooms and announcers that correct dates for Cabot 500 Events are published in the Official 500th Anniversary Festivals & Events Calendar 1997 or in the Eastern Region Newtel Telephone book. The Festivals & Events Calendar has been distributed to most media and households in the province. However, if you have not received your copy please call (709) 729-1997.

It was brought to our attention that incorrect dates for the Exploits Experience have been made public. The correct dates for the Exploits Experience are July 17 to August 4, 1997, beginning with the Exploits Valley Salmon Festival in Grand Falls-Windsor and concluding with the visit of the Matthew into the port of Botwood.
