Atlantic Coaches' Seminar

The Atlantic Coaches' Seminar (ACS) is an annual coaching education event. This year's seminar is being held in Corner Brook, May 16-18, and offers a great opportunity for Newfoundland and Atlantic Canadian coaches. The aim of the ACS is to develop high performance sport programs at the community level. The ACS provides a networking opportunity for coaches of different sports by allowing them to meet, share and discuss relevant issues and programs.

The ACS is run in conjunction with the Investor Group Community Coaching Conference which is open to all sport enthusiasts. The organizers hope that sport spectators, parents, athletes and coaches alike will join these coaches from the ACS to attend the Community Coaching Conference. This year's Community Coaching Conference features Brian Wakelin, Canada's Chef de Mission for the 1998 Nagano Olympic Games, as the keynote address speaker and panellist for the accompanying workshops.
