A 40,000 gallon stainless steel holding tank for processed oil will be constructed and equipment lines will be installed. The undertaking is tentatively scheduled to be ready for operation in the 1998 season. The project was registered on August 28, 1997, public comments must be received by October 3, 1997, and the minister's decision is due on October 12.
The proponent proposes to develop a trout-out Pond six miles east of Badger in the Aspen Brook area. The site is adjacent to the Trans Canada Highway and is accessible by an existing road.
