Julie Bettney, Minister of Works, Services and Transportation, and Ernest McLean, M.H.A. - Lake Melville are pleased to announce that a $486,831 contract (Project #27-96 THR) has been awarded to Labrador Construction Ltd. of St. John's. The contract calls for the supply and installation of culverts at 40 locations on the Trans Labrador Highway between Happy Valley/Goose Bay and Churchill Falls. This is a joint project between Transport Canada and the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador under the Regional Trunk Roads Agreement. Labrador Construction Ltd. was the lowest of five bidders.
