NOTE TO EDITORS: Premier to hold news conference ,Opportunities for Newfoundland and Labrador companies in Latin America and the Caribbean concerning future of Marystown Shipyard

Premier Brian Tobin will be making a major announcement concerning the future of the Marystown Shipyard on Wednesday, June 12, at 10 a.m. in the Collective Bargaining Boardroom, Main Floor, East Block, Confederation Building.

Premier Tobin will be joined by Malcolm Weatherston, general manager of the Marystown Shipyard Limited, representatives of the board of directors, and by union officials.

Media representatives are invited to attend.
