NOTE TO EDITORS:

Cabinet to meet in Corner Brook

Premier Brian Tobin will be in Corner Brook from Wednesday, July 10 to Friday, July 12. Cabinet will be meeting beginning Wednesday, 7:00 p.m., continuing 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday and the concluding session will be Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Media representatives are invited to attend the following events:

Wednesday, July 10
     10:30 a.m.    	 News conference at the Sir Richard Squires Building,
                    	 10th floor.  The premier will announce two West
                    	 Coast companies that are eligible for incentives
                    	 under the EDGE program.


Thursday, July 11
     2:30 p.m.      	Photo opportunity of Cabinet meeting in the Cabinet
                    	Room of the Sir Richard Squires Building, 10th
                    	floor.

Friday, July 12
     1:15 p.m.      	News conference following last session of Cabinet on
                    	Friday morning, Sir Richard Squires Building, 10th
                    	floor.
