Report: A-2018-002
Report Date: January 18, 2018
Public Body: Town of Portugal Cove-St. Phillip’s
Summary: The Complainant made a request to the Town of Portugal Cove-St. Phillip’s (the “Town”) relating to items discussed at a Council meeting on August 1, 2017. The Town responded, providing some information, but withholding records, relying on section 40 (disclosure harmful to personal privacy). The Commissioner concluded that disclosure of the redacted information would not be an “unreasonable invasion of a third party’s personal privacy,” and recommended disclosure.
