The Honourable Andrew Parsons, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Environment, has announced the following events relative to Part 10 Environmental Assessment of the Environmental Protection Act.
EXTENSION OF EIS REVIEW PERIOD:
Placentia Bay Atlantic Salmon Aquaculture Project (Reg. 1834)
Proponent: Grieg NL Nurseries Ltd. and Grieg NL Seafarms Ltd.
The public review period of the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) has been extended until July 25, 2018. The EIS is available on the Department of Municipal Affairs and Environment website at: www.mae.gov.nl.ca/env_assessment/projects/Y2016/1834/index.html. Paper copies of the EIS are available in the A.C. Hunter Public Library in St. John’s and in the Memorial University Queen Elizabeth II Library, as well as in public libraries located in Marystown, Gander and Corner Brook.
