The Honourable Andrew Parsons, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Environment, will speak at the opening of the Professional Municipal Administrators (PMA) Annual Convention tomorrow (Wednesday, June 6) at The Glynmill Inn, 1B Cobb Lane, Corner Brook, at 6:30 p.m. The Honourable Gerry Byrne, Minister of Fisheries and Land Resources, will speak during the convention banquet and presentation of the long-service awards for PMA members on Friday, June 8, at 7:00 p.m. The Professional Municipal Administrators includes municipal administrators, town/city managers and clerks. The organization aims to promote and enhance professional management and leadership excellence in local government through professional development and the exchange of ideas and information, for the continued recognition of PMA as an authority on municipal government.
