The Honourable Andrew Parsons, Minister of Justice and Public Safety, and the Honourable John Haggie, Minister of Health and Community Services, will join the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to officially launch National Police Week with a cake-cutting ceremony. The event takes place Monday, May 14, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Elaine Dobbin Centre for Autism, 70 Clinch Crescent, St. John’s. The aim of National Police Week 2018, which runs from May 13 to 19, is to increase community awareness and recognize policing services while strengthening police-community ties.
