Carol Anne Haley, Parliamentary Secretary for Health and Community Services, will address the first-year class of Memorial University’s School of Pharmacy as part of its annual White Coat ceremony.
The purpose of the White Coat ceremony is to welcome students to the School of Pharmacy. This year, 40 students representing the future Class of 2022, will be inducted into the profession and receive a white laboratory coat, the traditional symbol of compassionate medical sciences.
The ceremony takes place tomorrow (Thursday, January 18) in the main auditorium of the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s at 5:00 p.m.
