The Honourable Tom Osborne, Minister of Finance and President of Treasury Board and Minister Responsible for the Human Resource Secretariat, will be available to media tomorrow (Tuesday, May 29), to discuss the Salary Restraint and Extinguishment of Severance Pay Act, in addition to proposed amendments to the Other Post-Employment Benefits Eligibility Modification Act.

The availability will be held in the Media Centre, Ground Floor, East Block, Confederation Building at 10:00 a.m. A technical briefing for media will be provided at 9:30 a.m.

Media planning to attend are asked to pre-register via email (jillianhood@gov.nl.ca) or telephone 709-729-4266. Those who do not pre-register will have to proceed through the visitor entrance to access Confederation Building. All registered media will have access through the northeast entrance.
