The Honourable Gerry Byrne, Minister of Fisheries and Land Resources, will attend a behind-the-scenes look at a vessel being loaded with Corner Brook Pulp and Paper’s largest-ever shipment of newsprint being sent directly to India from the mill on Monday, May 7, at 12:30 p.m. The company will ship more than 4,000 tons of high-quality newsprint to customers in India, a first in the mill’s history.

Minister Byrne will join company representatives and members of the media to witness the event, which takes place from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.
