The Honourable Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, and the Honourable Lisa Dempster, Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development, will be in Marystown this week for the Newfoundland and Labrador 50+ Federation’s 43rd Annual Convention. The convention is being held at the Marystown Hotel & Convention Centre, 180-190 Ville Marie Drive, Marystown.
Minister Dempster will deliver the keynote address on Wednesday, September 12, beginning at 10:15 a.m.
Premier Ball will address delegates during the banquet taking place on Thursday, September 13, beginning at 6:30 p.m..
The Newfoundland and Labrador 50+ Federation Inc. is an umbrella organization representing more than 134 clubs and a membership of over 6,900 throughout the province. The federation’s mission is to link member clubs and disseminate information pertinent to quality of life for the older persons of Newfoundland and Labrador.
