The Honourable Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will provide updates on healthcare infrastructure for western Newfoundland tomorrow (Thursday, June 7).

The event will take place in Corner Brook at the site of the new Western Memorial Regional Hospital Campus near the intersection of Lewin Parkway and Wheelers Road, beginning at 12:00 p.m.

Premier Ball will be joined by the Honourable John Haggie, Minister of Health and Community Services; the Honourable Gerry Byrne, Minister of Fisheries and Land Resources and MHA for Corner Brook; John Finn, MHA for Stephenville – Port au Port, Scott Reid, MHA for St. George’s – Humber; and Cynthia Davis, CEO of Western Health.

As this site is an active construction site, media are asked to arrive at 11:30 a.m. for a review of safety procedures and are required to wear CSA-approved protective footwear.
