The installation of the Lieutenant Governor designate, Judy May Foote, will take place on Thursday, May 3, at 11:30 a.m. in the House of Assembly. The ceremony will be carried live on television over the House of Assembly Channel.

Following the ceremony and receiving line, the Lieutenant Governor will proceed to the front entrance of the Confederation Building east block where she will receive the Viceregal Salute and inspect the Guard of Honour. There will also be a 15-gun artillery salute (artillery will be set up in the east end of Confederation Building grounds).

The House of Assembly Broadcast Centre will provide a media feed and media representatives are asked to be in place by 11:00 a.m. on the day of the ceremony.
