The Honourable Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will participate in the announcement and signing of a bilateral health agreement with the Government of Canada tomorrow (Wednesday, January 24). The agreement secures targeted federal funding for investments in home and community care, including palliative care, and mental health and addictions.

Premier Ball will be joined by the Honourable Ginette Petitpas Taylor, federal Minister of Health, and the Honourable John Haggie, provincial Minister of Health and Community Services.

The event will take place in St. John’s at Pleasant View Towers, 65 Newfoundland Drive, at 10:00 a.m. Members of the media attending are asked to meet at the entrance of the West Residence of the facility starting at 9:30 a.m. for escort to the room.
