The Honourable Lisa Dempster, Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development, will attend the meeting of provincial-territorial ministers responsible for social services this week. The meeting will take place in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on July 31.

Through the Social Services Forum, provincial and territorial ministers and deputy ministers work together to provide leadership in advancing social inclusion, individual potential, and economic well-being of Canadians by promoting inter-jurisdictional discussion, co-operation and collaboration.
