The Honourable Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, joined by the Honourable Seamus O’Regan, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence, the Honourable Al Hawkins, Minister of Advanced Education, Skills and Labour, and Nick Whalen, Member of Parliament for St. John’s East, will announce measures to help more Newfoundlanders and Labradorians gain skills and work experience. The event begins at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow (Friday, August 3) at Memorial University’s Genesis Centre, Bruneau Centre for Research and Innovation, 230 Elizabeth Avenue, St. John’s.

Minister O’Regan will participate on behalf of the Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Employment, Workforce Development, and Labour. A media availability will follow.
