Public Advisory: Section of Veterans Memorial Highway Closed This Weekend

Veterans Memorial Highway, from Roaches Line to Hodegwater Line, will be closed from 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 1, to 6:00 a.m. Monday, December 4. Motorists are advised to use Roaches Line (Route 70) during the closure.

The closure is necessary to allow crews to safely replace culverts along the highway, ensure the safety of workers and motorists, and allow the work to be completed as quickly as possible.

The Department of Transportation and Works appreciates the patience of motorists and assures the public that all steps are being taken to complete repairs and reopen the section of the highway as soon as possible.
