The Honourable Steve Crocker, Minister of Transportation and Works, will meet with transportation infrastructure professionals from across the country next week as Newfoundland and Labrador and the City of St. John’s host the 2017 Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) Conference and Exhibition.

The event takes place September 24-27 at the St. John's Convention Centre and Delta St. John's Hotel.

The annual conference will bring together all levels of government, companies, academic institutions, and other associations to share ideas, information, and knowledge, and discuss ways to address transportation issues and challenges. This year’s theme is ‘Investing in Transportation: Building Canada’s Economy’.

TAC is a not-for-profit, national technical association that focuses on road and highway infrastructure and urban transportation.
