Media Advisory: Minister Gambin-Walsh to Participate in National Day of Remembrance for Road Crash Victims Event

The Honourable Sherry Gambin-Walsh, Minister of Service NL, will speak at a National Day of Remembrance for Road Crash Victims event tomorrow (Wednesday, November 15). The event will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Newfoundland and Labrador RCMP Headquarters, 100 East White Hills Road, St. John’s. Minister Gambin-Walsh will be joined by Bernard Davis, Parliamentary Secretary for Service NL.

Those attending should arrive by 9:45 a.m. Visitors are required to present photo identification to be admitted to the event location.

National Day of Remembrance for Road Crash Victims is an annual event in memory of those killed or seriously injured on Canada’s roads and highways. It also provides an opportunity to raise awareness and promote education about safe driving practices.
