Minister Trimper Proclaims Automotive Heritage Month 2017 in Newfoundland and Labrador

The Honourable Perry Trimper, Minister of Service NL, in partnership with the National Association of Automobile Clubs of Canada (NAACC), has proclaimed July 2017 as Automotive Heritage Month in Newfoundland and Labrador.

NAACC Automotive Heritage Month was designated in July 2010 to recognize the unity of automotive hobbyists from coast to coast. Hobbyists generate hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of business and employment to all the Canadian provinces.

NAACC will celebrate Collector Car Appreciation Day in Canada on July 14.

Quotes
“The NAACC and its members do positive work in our communities, supporting automotive hobbies and often providing fundraising assistance to charities and community groups through their events. I wish NAACC members the best with Automotive Heritage Month events this July, as well as safe travels on their annual cross country tour that will conclude in Newfoundland and Labrador this August. ”
