Media Advisory: Minister Trimper to Attend Ministerial Conference on the Canadian Francophonie
The Honourable Perry Trimper, Minister Responsible for Francophone Affairs, will participate in the 22nd Ministerial Conference on the Canadian Francophonie (MCCF) in Gatineau from Thursday, June 22, to Friday, June 23.
MCCF member ministers will be participating in a news conference on Friday, June 23, at 12:50 p.m. NDT. The MCCF is an intergovernmental organization made up of federal, provincial and territorial ministers responsible for the Canadian Francophonie. MCCF member ministers meet annually to discuss various issues of importance to French-speaking Canadians, and to work together to foster the development of public policies that strengthen the country’s linguistic duality.
