Media Advisory: Minister Trimper to Attend Ministerial Conference on the Canadian Francophonie

The Honourable Perry Trimper, Minister Responsible for Francophone Affairs, will participate in the 22^nd Ministerial Conference on the Canadian Francophonie (MCCF) in Gatineau from Thursday, June 22, to Friday, June 23.

MCCF member ministers will be participating in a news conference on Friday, June 23, at 12:50 p.m. NDT. Media representatives who are unable to attend the ministers' news conference may participate by telephone. To participate, dial 1-866-206-0153 - code 7427102# and confirm with the operator that you wish to participate in the ministers' news conference on the Canadian Francophonie.

The MCCF is an intergovernmental organization made up of federal, provincial and territorial ministers responsible for the Canadian Francophonie. MCCF member ministers meet annually to discuss various issues of importance to French-speaking Canadians, and to work together to foster the development of public policies that strengthen the country’s linguistic duality.
