Auditor General Delivers Report on his Review of Severance - Mr. Edmund J. Martin

Auditor General, Terry Paddon, delivered his report on a review of the severance benefits received by Mr. Edmund J. Martin upon his cessation of employment as Chief Executive Officer of Nalcor Energy to the Minister of Finance today.

On May 29, 2016, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council requested that the Auditor General inquire into and report on the appropriateness of the severance benefits received by Mr. Edmund J. Martin upon his cessation of employment as Chief Executive Officer of Nalcor Energy.

The Auditor General has concluded that the severance benefits received by Mr. Martin were appropriate.
